Yarn

Yarn was my Capstone Project at Lakeshore Technical College. I utilized Bootstrap 4 and Laravel 5.7 to build a server-side rendered application to allow users to read and write interactive stories with multiple paths (inspired by Bandersnatch on Netflix). Additionally, I created a simple API within the Laravel application to allow consumption of the stories in a companion mobile app that I created with Ionic and Angular 7. As it was a learning PHP project done in school, it is not deployed, but I may continue development in the future. In the meantime, you may check out an overview in the following video.

ArachniCMS

ArachniCMS was my first major project on my own after leaving LTC. This is intended to be a generic CMS product for use by individuals or small organizations. I stuck with Laravel 5.8 as well as a server-side rendering paradigm like I had used for my Capstone Project, and in the process I learned a lot about polymorphic model relationships, various Laravel ecosystem packages (such as numerous packages by Spatie that can be used for such things as backups, RSS feeds, and even integrations with third party services like Mailgun and MailChimp), jobs and queues, advanced templating with Laravel's Blade system and Tailwind CSS, and manual deployment via git to an Ubuntu VPS. Although I won't be continuing development, it is open source, and the most stable version so far is the v1.3.6 tag. For an extensive video overview:
